Thursday, 17 January 2019

row-start col-md-7 #top-section top-section new-section

What you can expect at the event:

  • Technical and executive overview of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project
  • Details of the procurement process for UK suppliers
  • One-to-one meetings with representatives from the EACOP project team

Why you should attend:

  • This is a strong opportunity to enter the supply chain of this project. A significant amount of UK supplies will be needed as a condition of the UK government’s export finance support.
  • You will be able to make or renew connections with procurement representatives from the EACOP project and Total, one of its principal sponsors, whilst also meeting with officials from the Department for International Trade, UK Export Finance and other suppliers.
  • UK Export Finance’s support will mean the overall credit risk for the project will be equivalent to supplying a UK government project. UK government officials with experience of supporting exports to Africa will be present to provide guidance on doing business there and discuss further opportunities.
