This mission offers UK FinTechs and VCs a unique opportunity to meet key Mexican stakeholders--including influential entrepreneurs, innovators and investors in the financial services industry--gain insight into overcoming barriers to doing business overseas, and showcase their expertise at Finnosummit, one of the largest FinTech conferences in the region.

The Mexican ecosystem is the largest across all of Latin America, a standout for the region offering an environment supportive of entrepreneurship and e-commerce. SoftBank has already launched a $5 billion innovation fund for the region. Notably, the Mexican Central Bank is piloting Cobri Digital a digital payments system announced earlier this year designed to become the required system in Mexico. Overall, the rate of economic growth is placing Mexico to join the world’s top 10 economies by 2030.

DIT Mexico City is welcoming advanced UK FinTechs and UK VCs interested in investing in LATAM start-ups to join us for four days of workshops, networking events, 1-2-1 meetings and much more.
