Open call for Sponsorship - GREAT FUTURES

Introduction

The GREAT FUTURES campaign is a major collaboration between UK industry, tourism, education and culture and the UK Government’s GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Campaign.  This campaign will encourage trade and promote British business, education and culture to a Saudi Arabian audience of senior Government and business figures engaged with the ambition and delivery of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy.

The centrepiece will be a major event in Riyadh in May 2024 and follow-on campaign through 2024/25.

GREAT FUTURES will focus on partnerships and prosperity, building networks and connections between the UK’s most innovative, creative and ambitious thought-leaders and companies with business leaders in Saudi Arabia.

The GREAT Campaign

The GREAT Campaign showcases the very best of the UK in more than 160 countries across the globe, inspiring the world to collaborate, visit, study, live, work, and do business here. GREAT has proudly promoted the best of the UK on the world stage for almost a decade. Sharing the stories of the people and places that make our country unique – from bold breakthroughs and twists on tradition, to the fresh perspectives that challenge convention and stimulate progress.  The approach is to help our customers, partners and clients to #SeeThingsDifferently

The GREAT Campaign’s flagship events bring this proposition to life outside the UK, in the hearts of our most important markets. They make the case for doing business with the British in a fresh, imaginative and entertaining way. By gathering innovators together to share fresh practical knowledge about business creativity, seed relationships and become commercial partners. Riyadh has been chosen for our next GREAT flagship in order to:

  • Build on the relationship between the two nations.
  • To approach this as an ongoing conversation with the sectors and the region.
  • To reinforce the strength of current relationships and to build new ones.

GREAT FUTURES Riyadh is a unique partnership between the United Kingdom Government and the private sector and a highlight of the Government’s GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland campaign, which has pioneered a platform to encourage entrepreneurs, investors, travellers and students to think differently about how to do business and prosper together and partner to get it done.

Audience

This exclusive invitation-only event will bring together more than 750 of the UK and Saudi Arabia’s most prominent future-shapers and decision makers across a range of industries. It will be an opportunity for these guests to network and to experience world class creativity and how the UK can partner to deliver Vision 2030, showcasing British expertise and excellence.

The event and campaign
The core three-day event will be held in May 2024, preceded by a VVIP reception, and supported by a trailing 12 month programme of trade, tourism, education and cultural activity. The interactive programme and sessions throughout the three days will encourage discussions around the challenges and opportunities Saudi Arabia faces in its delivery of Vision 2030 and solutions available when two countries work together.
