About the trainer/company

Make it China has worked with leading Chinese companies to help them effectively grow their brands in Britain, Europe and America. Make it China has become a trusted name in both private sector and government circles in China and our team has grown from two people to over ten in four difference locations. After many approaches from Western companies asking for help in China, we realised that the access, knowledge and experience Make It China had built up through our own journey in building a business in China could be of real value to Western companies looking to do business there.

Jonathan joined Make it China with a wealth of practical experience, having worked closely with over 50 companies on their China market entry at the Department for International Trade and the China-Britain Business Council. Prior to that, he was based in Beijing where he studied at Peking University and worked for a boutique public affairs consultancy, helping multinational companies to better understand the China market.

Who is this event for?

The workshop is appropriate for ambitious companies looking to significantly boost their sales in China, whether already selling there or not. The workshop is appropriate for South West of England companies currently exporting overseas and have an annual turnover exceeding £500,000.
