Opportunities with Orascom: UK Export Finance Supplier Fair

Orascom Construction is currently seeking to engage suppliers for several projects in the Middle East, predominantly within the power and water sectors. This event presents an opportunity to meet with representatives from the procurement team to find out how to secure these supply contracts.

Orascom are seeking to procure specific items from the UK supply chain, details of which are specified on the Procurement List.

What you can expect at the event:

• Details of the procurement process for UK suppliers
• 1-2-1 meetings with representatives from Orascom and UKEF
• Afternoon workshop with experienced Export Finance Managers detailing how UKEF can help support you in your export journey

Why you should attend:

• Strong opportunity to enter the supply chain for these projects. A significant amount of UK supplies will be required as a condition of the UK government’s export finance support.
• Build and consolidate relationships with procurement representatives from Orascom, whilst also meeting with other suppliers, officials from UK Export Finance and the Department for International Trade.
• Support for entry into new markets:
  UK Export Finance’s support will mean the overall credit risk will be equivalent to supplying a UK government project. UK government officials will be present to provide guidance on doing business in in the Middle East and to discuss further opportunities.
