The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite you to join the Internet of Things (IoT) in Smart Cities Mission at Virtual UK Tech Week, Turkey, organised in collaboration with the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The mission will focus on the areas of IoT, Data Analytics and Data Visualisation and is build on success for previous smart city trade activity at London Tech Week. You will be offered to have a virtual exhibition stand at the event, where you will have the opportunity to meet with potential buyers from Turkey and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) and explore the opportunities of these markets.

Covid-19 has accelerated the adoption of smart city technologies by local authorities in Turkey and the EECA markets to address the key challenges facing thier economies and communities post pandemic. The public and private sectors across Turkey and the EECA region are looking to invest in IoT infrastructure across all parts of the urban environment to be able to deliver better services and efficiently manage local infrastructure, particularly in the smart mobility and transport sphere. This virtual trade mission will help you gain insights on the landscape and opportunities in Turkey and the EECA markets in this particular area as well key trands and project highlights post Covid-19. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your technology to a select audience consisting of sector players in these markets and meet one-on-one with technology intergrators and decision makers from local authorities in Turkey and EECA to explore areas for collaboration.
