About Event

Air cargo industry currently functions and contributes to the Indian and the UK economy, both directly and indirectly. Trends in the industry itself and in the industries that influence performance of the sector influence a view on the future prospects for the industry and its position within the global air cargo market. UK’s trade transported by air with India is among the highest. While Air freight accounts for under 1% of trade in top ten non-EU trading partners, India’s share of air trade with the UK stands at 1.5%.

Multi Modal transhipment from the UK could service air freight to destinations across Europe and USA. The future of India-UK air trade holds vast potential as both countries advance towards an Enhanced Trade Partnership which the two governments are actively discussing.
