Baro Vehicles LTD

BARO Vehicles design connected & autonomous compact vehicles. We are aiming to bridge the gap between standars cars and autonomous vehicles. The autonomous car platform BARO CAV-P is the best solution to develop software for the next generation of vehicles and to use as a base to manufacture low-speed autonomous vehicles. Our product BARO One is a high technology, fully electric self driving car with Level 3 autonomy and is suitable for use on private land e.g. airports, business parks, university campus sites, holiday resorts and golf courses and offers unprecedented levels of technology, design and comfort.

BIONICS

Founded in 2017 as a follow on from an EU research project, BIONICS is currently developing technology for the CCTV and artificial vision markets. Given the existing and continuing growth of this market BIONICS technology has the potential to have a disruptive effect as a next generation technology. BIONICS is applicable to law enforcement and security professionals who want to detect security threats in real time (whilst maximising detection and minimising resources). BIONICS is an artificial vision surveillance system based on the computational power and performance of the retina that can accurately detect threats with minimal human intervention.

Five AI

FiveAI is developing artificial intelligence and machine learning software for fully autonomous vehicles and plans to deliver a shared transport service for Europe’s cities.

Latent Logic

Latent Logic

Latent Logic is a spin-out from the University of Oxford. We enable the safe, scalable, virtual testing of autonomous vehicles. Understanding the behaviour of other road users is the biggest challenge for a self-driving car, and can only be tested safely in simulation, not on real roads. We use state-of-the-art deep learning to build “virtual humans” for these simulated test environments. What’s unique about our technology is the realism of our virtual drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. We capture the subtleties and variety of human behaviour, like safe or aggressive driving, through applying Computer Vision and Imitation Learning to traffic videos.
