DEADLINE TO APPLY NOW EXTENDED TO 12 SEPTEMBER 2019.
The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) in New York is recruiting UK- headquartered RegTechs to apply for the 2019 RegTech Mission to New York City and the RegTech Summit this November.
This mission offers delegates the opportunity to showcase their expertise to the US market; engage with US regulators, VCs, and critical industry players; gain insight into overcoming barriers to doing business in the US; and to attend the RegTech Summit event in New York.
Mission dates: 13-15 November
Previous missions have seen UK companies:
- acquire US-based customer accounts
- learn best practices about US expansion strategy and business development
- network with top-level industry executives
- engage with US regulators
- raise funding from New York area VCs and investors
Ideal candidates are those considering the US market, actively entering the US market, seeking US investment, or already engaging with US clients.
What to expect on the 2019 Mission:
- Pre-mission meetings with fellow delegates in London to learn about doing business in the US and making the most of your time in New York
- Pitch coaching and investor pitch opportunities
- Regulatory discussions with local regulators and legal experts
- Business networking opportunities and receptions with New York area asset managers, financial regulators, investors, and tech experts
- Group site visits and 1-to-1 meetings with senior industry leaders
- Insight from industry insiders about financing, hiring, and growing your business in New York
- Full-access passes to the RegTech Summit in New York City
- Company name and logo on summit materials
About the RegTech Summit
The RegTech Summit is one of the largest RegTech-focused events in the US, attracting attendees from across the industry, including practitioners, regulators, start-ups, and major financial institutions. The summit will be held on November 14th by the A-Team Group, at the Convene, just steps away from Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
2019 RegTech Mission Costs and Deadlines
If selected from a competitive pool of applicants, the cost to attend is £495 per eligible company. This cost goes to help reimburse DIT for some of the costs involved in organising and hosting this event. In addition, delegates are responsible for their own airfare, hotels, and meals. By submitting this application, you agree to pay this invoice within 15 days from notice of selection.
Applications must be received no later than 23.30 EST on 12 September 2019.
Accepted delegates will be notified by 19 September 2019 and must confirm their space in the delegation by 26 September 2019.
Only one delegate per company will be accepted.
