Farnborough Airshow Meet the Buyer Virtual Webinar Series

The Department for International Trade South East has put together this 'Preparing your Supplier Profile' webinar, the first in a series of 3*, to help UK companies prepare and submit a successful supplier presentation sheet for the Farnborough International Airshow’s (FIA) Connect Meet the Buyer Programme.

The supplier presentation sheet includes information about your company and is what buyers see in order to decide if they will validate a meeting with you. A fully completed supplier presentation sheet will increase the chances of quality meetings with buyers who are looking for the products and services you can provide.

The free to join FIA Connect Meet the Buyer Programme is one of the most popular and longstanding features of the Airshow. As a result of the 2018 event, 86% of buyers said they would consider doing business with the suppliers they met, the same event generated over £11.4m worth of business. Buyers from all over the world will be in attendance, it is an event not to be missed!

Investing in building your networks with potential future buyers during COVID-19 could be of great benefit to your business.

Who should attend the Preparing Your Supplier Profile webinar?

Suitability criteria – companies must:

Be small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) according to the European SME definition
Be based in the South East of England or London
Be registered in the UK
Specialise in one of the following industries; aerospace, defence, space, security, MRO, airlines, and airport services/equipment
Have previous international exporting experience

Your application will be reviewed based on the eligibility requirements stated above and we will be in touch if your application has been successful.

Step 2 - To register for the FIA Connect Meet the Buyer Programme

Please register your interest in this event by contacting Charlotte Beebe on charlotte.beebe@farnborough.com and she will ensure you are sent the supplier booking form.

On receipt of your interest you will be contacted with details to create and submit your supplier profile. The supplier portal will open from Monday 15th June.
