The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) in Los Angeles is recruiting innovative UK companies to join a highly collaborative, month-long virtual mission for the Los Angeles ‘Future of Transport’ month in November.
This virtual trade mission will bring together mobility stakeholders and companies from across the US and UK in automotive, mobility, and smart cities with a select group of cutting-edge UK companies demonstrating UK expertise in the ‘Future of Transport.’

The mission will include access to CoMotion Los Angeles, Autotech Council events, and a variety of opportunities tailored to network with the US mobility ecosystem. Successful companies will receive bespoke DIT support and VIP access to all of the below:

Deadline: 11:59pm GMT 7th October

  • Tailored US market briefing from the DIT team in North America 
  • Brand feedback and pitch training for the US market 
  • Q&A around new FTA and IP in the US
  • Match-making with cities, VCs, and accelerators with 1:1 introductions 
  • Free admission to CoMotion LA and access to all conference amenities (B2B meetings, UK panel, workshops, and specific delegate promotion)
  • Company’s brand featured on virtual CoMotion LA pavilion as well as mission collateral and promotional material
  • VIP invitation to the Autotech Council November meeting, including an opportunity for a 3-5 minute pitch to the Autotech Bay Area community and access to 48 hours of 1:1 meetings with Autotech Council network
  • Unique marketing opportunities and delegation promotions on social media 
  • Bespoke outreach from DIT on behalf of the delegate company to two to three US companies
  • Ongoing support from DIT North America as part of the 20/21 Future of Transport cohort, including US opportunity notifications 
  • Membership in a private LinkedIn community of mission delegates and US and UK stakeholders
 

Please note: DIT will subsidize some costs of the mission. Successful applicants will be required to contribute £495 at the time of acceptance to secure your place.

The activities will take place between the hours of 4pm - 8pm GMT on dates through November. The schedule will be available in advance and you can build your schedule with that in mind.
