About the Event

As the global shipping industry faces unprecedented changes, UK marine technology suppliers are wasting no time in developing innovative solutions that will help companies around the world navigate the challenges of tomorrow.

With the growing demand for environmentally sustainable performance, also grows the need to use greener fuels and low carbon technologies. In this sense, relations between British and Brazilian companies could not be more synergistic. With a vibrant sector and great prospects for expansion, Brazil will be able to make good use of British technology to adapt itself to the challenges of the future of the Maritime and Port Industries.

To find out more about this synergy and how to be part of it, join the UK Department for International Trade in the Webinar: “Low Carbon Maritime and Port Industries”

This event will feature presentations by the Brazilian Society of Naval Engineering (SOBENA) the International Windship Association (IWSA) and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Brazil, contributing their perspectives on the sector in Brazil and the United Kingdom and on the synergies between the two countries. The UK Government will also showcase Britain's innovative capacity through the Connect Places Catapult innovation agency as well as financing opportunities through UK Export Finance and financial perspectives with the London Stock Exchange.
