Are you an LGBTQ+ founded, majority-owned or key decision-maker in a tech company? The Minister for Exports and Equalities invites you to apply to join The LGBTQ+ Tech Leaders Trade Mission to Austin, Houston and San Francisco.
During this program, you will learn:
- Doing Business in Texas and California (business climate, banking, taxation, immigration, legal, intellectual property rights, public relations and marketing strategies)
- Supply chain diversity initiatives and opportunities: a new focal point in the procurement universe and its impact on global trade
- Visits to major US Tech headquarters and briefing on their diversity and inclusion initiatives and procurement and partnership opportunities
- Meeting with diversity and inclusion champions, including Chambers of Commerce, Venture Capitalists, and others
- Networking events hosted by Consul Generals in Houston and San Francisco
Itinerary (subject to change):
- June 20: Meetings in Austin, Texas
- June 21-22: Meetings in Houston, Texas
- June 23-24: Meetings in San Francisco
- June 25-26: San Francisco Pride / Return flight to the UK
