Join us for the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) 2024 MedTech trade mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to explore your export opportunities in a growing market.
Following on from highly successful missions in 2022 and 2023, DBT is excited to announce we will be taking a delegation of UK MedTech companies to Saudi Arabia for a 3-day trade mission to two major cities – Riyadh and Jeddah.
Relationship-building is key to navigating the Saudi market. DBT’s MedTech team alongside our embassy staff, who have extensive in-market knowledge and insight into Saudi business culture, will provide a tailored programme of engagement for UK MedTech companies. These engagements will be focused on providing direct commercial opportunity, with delegates meeting an exciting range of public and private healthcare providers, universities and government organisations to foster in-market connections to grow your export potential in KSA. Where possible bespoke engagements will be arranged to connect delegates with relevant Saudi companies to discuss collaborations, depending on the needs of the UK business.
Sectors of Interest
Export ready UK MedTech companies with a clear product pitch who can take advantage of the mission’s opportunities for commercialisation in Saudi Arabia. Companies should have regulatory approval of some description – whether UKCA mark, CE mark or FDA approval – and the product should ideally be already applied in domestic or international markets.
What you can expect
The agenda is currently being finalised and will depend on the delegates recruited. The mission is expected to include:
• Pre-mission and in-market briefings• Curated networking opportunities to facilitate introductions with in-market stakeholders
• Specially selected organisational visits with pitching opportunities to potential buyers

Registration

During the sign up process you will also get the opportunity to provide further details about your business and your export experience to support your registration. Please note, if selected for the mission we will ask companies to confirm attendance, travel arrangements and mission fees by the required deadlines.
