Expression of Interest for US Trade Mission
The British Consulate in Los Angeles' annual Future of Transport Week will feature an action-packed week across Los Angeles centred around our exciting partnership with CoMotion LA. The US and the UK share numerous synergies when it comes to zero-emission technologies, mobility, and transit systems of the future.
The unprecedented push for transportation infrastructure leading up to the 2028 Olympics, the first wave of robo-taxis on L.A. streets, and the federal government’s ambitious plans for electrification at the nation’s largest port, the City of Angels is poised to transform itself.
The world at large, is facing a revolution in the technologies powering the movement in cities. Once the purview of think-pieces and science fiction, self-driving cars are being deployed by the thousands. Generative AI is being integrated into the urban fabric - with large questions still looming about how it can be used safely and effectively.
The spirit of CoMotion is about embracing, rather than reacting, to change. The event is convening business leaders, policymakers, thinkers, planners and investors to discuss the future of cities and the vehicles and systems that power them.

The UK mission from November 11th - 14th includes US expansion discussions with DBT Representatives from across North America and in-market service providers, opportunities to do product demonstrations at the UK stand, exclusive meetings with key US stakeholders and local authorities. Previous meetings included representatives from Los Angeles Metro, The Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Uber, The Federal Aviation Administration, The Arizona Commercial Authority, Los Angeles World Airports, Amazon, LA28, venture capital representatives, and others.
Successful British companies will receive a ticket to the exclusive CoMotion VIP Reception, conference attendance, exclusive Meet-and-Greet with speakers, PR support, along with bespoke networking and introductions.
The delegation will be structured to present and promote the best and most exciting companies the UK offers in the New Mobility space.
