About

DIT is proud to be a supporting partner.

EIC Connect Energy Kuwait 2019 is the Energy Industries Council‘s (EIC) inaugural Connect event to be held in Kuwait. Hosted by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), this is an ideal opportunity to meet first-hand with the main players in the region and showcase the best of the UK supply chain.

As the world’s 8th largest crude oil producer in 2018 and the 6th largest oil reserves, Kuwait is one of the most compelling industry environments in the Middle East. Kuwait, on a per capita basis, is the world’s largest producer with total proven oil reserves equivalent to about 100 years.

Production currently stands at approximately 2.77 million bpd. By 2020, Kuwait aims to reach a production capacity of 4 million bpd and maintain this level through 2030. Downstream, Kuwait also plans to grow domestic refinery capacity to 1.4 million bdp and boost international cooperation.

We would be delighted to see you, your company and events sponsors all networking at our event. We expect to attract a large number of companies, primarily representing UK based businesses, all with the capacity, technology and innovation to contribute to large scale projects.

Do not miss this opportunity to discover the key requirements of energy projects in the region:

  • Opening Conference led by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Michael Davenport and Her Majesty's Trade Commissioner Simon Penney
  • KOC’s key engineering & procurement team attending to meet the best of UK expertise
  • Multiple Seminars to choose from including: KOC and EPC contractors vendor requirements
  • Network with 150+ UK and Kuwaiti companies supplying goods and services across the industry
