About the event

As a key player in the world economy the US is a leading market for companies considering expanding into international territories.

For those businesses that are looking to grow their existing footprint, make new acquisitions or set up new operations in the US it is crucial that businesses plan appropriately so no unexpected delays, taxes or fines are experienced during the process.

To help businesses understand the key elements to consider when looking at expanding into the American market, the Department for International Trade, North East will be hosting a seminar focusing on some of the main issues presented by experts from both the US and the UK.

Please note this event is only open to registered businesses based in North East England interested in trading internationally or wanting to learn more about the service Department for International Trade North East (formerly UKTI North East) provides. You may be contacted prior to the event to assess eligibility.
