About the event

The masterclass will focus on Norway, Sweden and Denmark and Finland. Norway, Sweden and Finland are the geographically largest markets and border each other between the Norwegian Sea and mainland Russia.

The region in general describes countries with highly developed economies and high standards of living. Markets research outcomes from the FSB and through our own market research services indicate that the region in general ranks very high for British export opportunities.

The region also covers a huge diversity of cultures and languages. Being aware of the cultural differences will help minimis possible challenges.

The training will cover:

  • different business and economic environments
  • business communication and negotiation styles
  • challenges and solutions when doing business
  • understanding and overcoming common trade barriers / pitfalls
  • how to empathise
  • behaviour in meetings
  • e-commerce strategy
