Join the Department for International Trade (DIT) for a Northern Powerhouse E-Commerce Sector Panel Discussion on Tuesday 27th October 2020.

Are you planning your next phase of development for your online retail business? Join this panel of experts for a live online discussion of how to plan the international growth of your ecommerce business.

Before you reach out to new markets you need to consider a few key points such as:

  • What are the fastest growing markets online, which products are selling well  and how do you plan a successful expansion in the current climate?
  • With so many different ways of reaching buyers , how do you assess your options?
  • What support is available to help you expand successfully and minimise the risk

Hear first-hand from Ecommerce experts and successful online sellers about their experience of trading through their most challenging year yet  and discover their top tips for survival and expansion.

The discussion will cover business-critical issues such as:

  • Options for reaching customers – looking at direct web sales, eMarket places such as Amazon and including the rise of online B2B platforms and online retailers
  • Understanding global market places
  • Ensuring competitiveness on new marketplaces
  • Financing the expansion- grants and other funding options for businesses

The panel will also take questions from participants and help you to overcome your business obstacles so you can confidently move forward with your plans.

Please note, this event is for Ecommerce sellers who are already actively selling successfully to the UK market and would like to focus their next development steps on overseas sales or sellers who have sold reactively overseas but would like to develop an ecommerce strategy.

When registering your interest we will ask you a number of elegibilty questions.

This event will take place on Microsoft Teams, you will receive an invite with joining instructions shortly after you register.
