Virtual FinTech Conference Eastern Europe and Central Asia

The event

DIT Russia is hosting annual FinTech conference on 24 November 2020, which will gather experts from the UK and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECAN) region for visionary panel discussions and marketing sessions. The event will provide the opportunity to demonstrate the UK offer in innovative technologies to regional stakeholders and potential buyers and partners, thus establishing the UK as the partner of choice in EECAN region and driving exports within the financial services industry.

EECAN market

The conference will present a unique opportunity to address 200+ professional representatives of the financial services and IT sectors in following EECAN markets: Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia. The region is a substantial destination for UK exports with £38.5bn bilateral trade in the Q4 and Q3 2019, where Russia (£5.7bn) and Turkey (£6bn) dominated. By comparison exports to Brazil were £3.4bn, South Africa £4.2bn and Mexico £2.5bn.

Agenda

The agenda is centred around four areas: (1) Capital Markets and WealthTech; (2) Open Banking and Embedded Finance; (3) RegTech and Compliance(4) Digital SME Banking and Lending. FinTech experts will form subject panels to address these areas and discuss their views on future developments from the UK and global perspective. Marketing session will follow each panel discussion to demonstrate the UK offer in innovative technologies and solutions.

DIT Russia support

DIT Russia would like to offer two separate packages to interested companies.

1. Standard package (£165+VAT):

  • virtual business card to engage and network with participants and grow your outreach in the region;
  • pitch in front of an engaged audience as part of one of the subject panels (see above), which will be comprised of professionals specific to your technology and sector (10 minutes allocated).

2. Extended package (£275+VAT):

  • virtual business card to engage and network with participants and grow your outreach in the region;
  • product demonstration in a separate marketing channel streamed throughout the event (20 minutes allocated), the audience will consist of those who hold particular interest in your technology (must be financial sector related).

* To qualify for DIT trade services, a business must be able to demonstrate that it (or its principal) has an active UK trading address. We retain discretion regarding access to DIT services. We will also ask the companies to agree to inform DIT about the business outcomes as a result of our support.
