Best of British Brand Week 2020: China




The Best of British is the largest dedicated exhibition of British brands in China. This event showcases the best in quality, innovation and excellence from Great Britain. We are inviting expressions of interest to participate in a GREAT Digital Pavilion at the Best of British led by the Department for International Trade.  

A 6-day digital showcase of British brands, quality & excellence to a targeted audience of trade buyers and high-end consumers. This showcase will be broadcast via WeChat, Little Red Book, and TikTok, featuring presentations to buyers, online pre-organised meetings and networking.

To support British businesses through the pandemic, we are inviting applications to join the GREAT Digital Pavilion at Best of British led by the Department for International Trade (DIT), for an opportunity to increase exports, brand awareness and gain exposure to thousands of businesses and consumers in China.

‘‘Meet the Buyers’’ Digital Campaign (Oct – Dec: Date to be confirmed between Brand & Buyer)

       ‘‘British Brand Week’’ Online – Industry focused Live Streaming & Networking( 30 Nov - 4 Dec)

  • 10-minute “Brand Promotion” - Live Streaming
  • Followed by 5-minute Q&A and 10 min Panel
  • 100 buyers for each event day – contact data of attendees of brand session provided
  • Exposure to a trade visitor database of 150,000 contacts
  • Brand Week promoted by KOL’s on Little Red Book and WeChat
  • Translation service

Who is the Best of British for?

UK SMEs – first time or recently new to market, from fashion, accessories, beauty, home & lifestyle, mother & baby and sports sectors – currently looking to enter the Chinese market, diversify trade channels and meet Chinese business partners with Government support, can apply to exhibit on the GREAT Digital Pavilion.

Participation Fee

Access to all of the above for a fee of £1,000 + VAT (Normally £2,500 + VAT).

Spaces are limited and will be through invitation only. Applications subject to criteria including current international exporting presence, e-commerce presence and estimated annual revenue.
