About the event
The Department for International Trade (DIT) and Midlands Engine is delighted to invite you to join the Digital Manufacturing Trade Mission at Virtual UK Tech Week, Turkey. You’ll be offered to have a virtual exhibition stand at the event, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet with potential buyers in Turkey and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) region and explore the opportunities of these markets.
Turkey aims to strengthen the Turkish industry’s digital transformation process and invest £2bn annually to incorporate advanced digital technologies to manufacturing processes by adopting Industry 4.0 in order to transform production. 50% of the manufacturers in Turkey are planning to apply advanced digital technologies in manufacturing processes within the next 2 to 4 years. This creates opportunities for solutions providers who work on the application of new technologies on manufacturing services, supply chains, products and processes by creating an integrated approach from design to production providing visibility of factory processes, control, and optimization to improve performance.
This virtual trade mission will help you gain insights on the landscape and opportunities in Turkey and EECA markets in this particular area as well as key trends and project highlights post Covid-19. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your technology to a select audience consisting of sector players in these markets and meet one-on-one with the key players and technology integrators to explore areas for collaboration in the manufacturing industry.
