UK-Indonesia Transnational Education Dialogue

Nurturing the spirit of internationalisation in the Higher Education sector to enhance quality, the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture has launched the “Independent Campus” initiative. It allows Indonesian students to take up courses outside their university, including with overseas institutions.
This view is also shared by the UK, where many institutions have established global partnerships, including Indonesia, in Transnational Education (TNE) to offer high quality UK qualifications. The number of Indonesian students studying on UK TNE courses has grown dramatically in recent years, presenting opportunities for both UK and Indonesian Higher Education Institutions.
Join this virtual dialogue between HEIs from the UK and Indonesia, which will focus on navigating TNE partnerships in Indonesia, including the current operating environment, recognition of TNE qualifications, and online learning opportunities in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
