About the event

Considering expanding your company to the UK? Have you thought of the North?

The North of England includes cities such as Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield, and is home to 15.2 million people and generates 19% of UK GDP. The region has a long and rich history of science, engineering, entrepreneurship and commercial success, and hosts four of the world’s top 100 universities, seven international airports and 12 major trading ports. The Chancellor’s recent budget contained several announcements for the Northern Powerhouse, signalling the Government’s commitment to the North and levelling up the UK economy. It is therefore not surprising that the region is also a popular destination for international investment.

Join us for our upcoming webinar, during which a number of companies will share their experience of setting up and running a business in the North. We will also have representatives from Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield who will share insights into what specific industry clusters can be found in each city, what makes their cities an ideal home for international entrepreneurs and what local support is available for companies setting up in their cities.

Date: Wednesday 5 May 2021

Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm (Hong Kong / GMT+8)
