Garden Reception

A shared vision for a sustainable future.

Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Austria Leigh Turner CMG and the Country Director of the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), Bronwen Moore, cordially invite you to a summer garden reception at the Ambassador's residence on Thursday, 1st July 2021 starting at 13:30.
The reception will be an opportunity to reconvene and is taking place on the occasion of the visit of the Rt Hon Alok Sharma MP, President Designate of the 26th UN Climate Conference (COP26). He will be in Vienna to participate at the Austrian World Summit (organised by the Arnold Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative) and will meet with heads of states and governments to discuss climate ambitions in preparation for the conference in Glasgow in November 2021.
Alok Sharma will join us in the Residence Garden to address the special role of business in helping to achieve climate goals and will give some first-hand insights on the climate negotiations.

Due to the current COVID-19 regulations and associated safety precautions, spaces are strictly limited, and so we kindly encourage you to register as soon as possible.

Register here

To enter the Residence building, you will need to present a “3G certificate” (vaccinated - recovered - tested) in accordance with current Austrian regulations. Please see below for further details on our COVID-19 entry policy.
