Bio

He holds a Masters in Industrial Engineering (2000) and a Ph.D. in Applied Sciences from the University of Liege (2010), both obtained in Belgium. He is the head of the Ocean Engineering Department at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro where he is a Professor. He was Technical Director of the Brazilian Society of Marine Engineering from 2017 to 2020. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Marine Systems & Ocean Technology since 2019.
