Join the Department for International Trade (DIT) North East and transatlantic law firm, Womble Bond Dickinson for a FREE virtual masterclass, providing a detailed overview of the legal and regulatory considerations when selling your products or services overseas.

When doing business, either nationally or internationally, it is important to rely on sound agreements that optimally safeguard your business’ interests at all times. Companies often pay too little attention to the content of commercial contracts and agreements, and the risks when entering into them.

In this session, Womble Bond Dickinson will examine the pros and cons of each route to market from a legal perspective, as well as the key contractual terms that you will need to be consider for whichever route to market you choose.

Why join?
In this webinar you will:

•    Understand the different routes to market from direct selling, incorporating an entity, agency, or distribution.
•    Consider the pros and cons of each route to market from a legal perspective.
•    Discover how to "internationalise" terms and conditions, or contracts.
•    Learn more about the key contractual terms to consider, whichever route to market you choose.
•    Navigate local regulatory compliance - explore the knowledge and support required to understand local laws in the market that you choose to trade in.
•    Be provided with a brief overview of intellectual property (IP) including what it is, why it's important and of value to businesses, and territorial considerations for IP in new markets.
