The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is pleased to announce that we will be taking a delegation of companies from the English Regions to MEDICA, Düsseldorf, Germany
MEDICA is the No. 1 global healthcare and life science exhibition and is the foremost meeting place for the whole industry. The exhibition features experienced high-tech companies, as well as start-ups in the sector. With over 4,500 exhibitors from 66 countries and more than 81,000 visitors from all over the world, MEDICA in Düsseldorf is one of the largest medical B2B trade fairs in the world.
A wide range of innovative products and services from the fields of medical imaging, laboratory technology, diagnostics, health IT, mobile health as well as physiotherapy/orthopaedic technology and medical consumables are presented here. The extensive programme of first-class forums, conferences and special shows provides opportunities for interesting presentations and discussions with experts and politicians and also includes pitches of new products and award ceremonies.
Join our UK Regions Trade Mission:
We are taking expressions of interest from companies who want to be considered to join a UK Trade Mission and take advantage of the many opportunities on offer at the No. 1 global MedTech exhibition.
Pre mission activities to include:
- How to get the most out of Medica and how to navigate MEDICA
- Undertaking market research and routes to market
- Culture and language masterclass; covering basic language skills, doing business and marketing collateral guidance
- Optimising your website for maximum exposure at MEDICA
- Commercial officer market briefings
In market activities* to include:
- Introduction to the local DBT team in Germany and other DBT overseas posts who will be able to provide an overview of current opportunities in the sector
- Entrance to Medica exhibition
- UK Networking Reception
- Invite to other network events organised by stakeholders/partners
- Invite to attend DBT organised seminars during MEDICA
- Use of meeting tables on the DBT stand
- Promotion of your company within UK marketing collateral
