About the event

MIPIM is the world’s largest property market. Every year the event brings together investors, political leaders, developers and local government from more than 100 countries. Over four days in June more than 20,000 people meet, debate, learn and move deals forward.

The Department for International Trade’s Capital Investment Directorate is once again leading the UK Government presence at the 2020 event which takes place 10 – 13th March. We will be joined by colleagues from across government including the Ministry for Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG), Office of Government Property (OGP) and Homes England. 

The UK Government will demonstrate the UK’s offer to the global property and real estate industry. Leading figures from the UK will join senior representatives of international developers, investors and advisers to discuss a host of hot topics in the sector. 
 

The Programme

Working with the our official Capital Investment Partner, EG, a three day programme of panel discussions is being created which will cover a broad range of topics including major upgrades to the UK’s infrastructure, clean growth economy, the mayoral combined authorities, latest developments in investing in the UK after Brexit, as well as examples of our latest project opportunities.

A series of networking events will be taking place enabling informal discussions with a host of political leaders, government officials and senior representatives from the UK’s investment and development community. We are optimistic that Ministers from across departments will be present this year.
