Our presence at SXSW is to be a flagship for UK creative innovation and official talks – building the profile of UK creativity and tech excellence at this essential gathering of US and global influencers. UK House will offer a series of official talks, networking opportunities and an experience zone between 9:30am - 6pm, March 11th - 14th at The Courtyard at the Fourth (208 W 4th St, Austin, TX 78701)
The Experience Zone
UK House has a range of immersive demonstrations in the Experience Zone, attendees can explore the activations and meet the innovators and creators behind them. One of the many experiences include Crowd, by the power of AI, you can create a unique image based on your own ideas and have it minted as an NFT! If you like your image, you can have a totally unique T-Shirt printed with that image and delivered for free, but you need to pre-book. Or you can try out Rezzil - the world’s leading sports VR training platform for developing elite athletes. Used across the world from academy level to European League and World Cup winners.
THE UK TRADE MISSION
We’re also incredibly proud to present 23 companies that will participate in this year’s Trade Mission to SXSW. They represent the best of UK creativity and bring with them innovative solutions to drive audience engagement, applications of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and immersive technologies, among many other specialties. BME - British Music Embassy
This year the music industry partners will once again host the British Music Embassy (BME) where we’ll showcase the best new music and artists from across the UK. The BME shares the UK House venue at The Courtyard at Fourth (208 W 4th St, Austin, TX 78701) as part of the Official SXSW Music Festival from 8pm daily (March 13th – 18th) and will host day programming from March 15th – 18th. British Music Embassy (BME)
The British Music Embassy (BME) will showcase the best new music and artists from across the UK. The BME will be at (208 W. 4th Street, Austin TX) as part of the Official SXSW Music Festival from 8pm daily (March 13th – 18th) and will host day programming from March 15th – 18th.
The British Music Embassy Opening Night will take place on Saturday March 12th from 7pm. This event will be invitation-only from 7-8pm and then open to SXSW badge holders 8pm-late. The full British Music Embassy line-up for SXSW 2023 can be viewed here.
