A small number of International Trade Week (ITW) events require attendees to register on a separate platform. Details of these events and registration links are below. 

Monday 6th November

Tuesday 7th November

  • In person: Europe North Meets the Midlands Roadshow, Nottingham, 09:30 to 13:20
    • The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) in Midlands is bringing together Commercial Officers from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden to have 1:1 meetings with local businesses.
  • In person: The UK-India Tech Forum, London, 10:00 - 12:00
    • The event will focus on the Free Trade Agreement (whether it is agreed, or is still being negotiated), as well as a panel on emerging technologies.
  • In person: Institute of Directors / Department for Business and Trade Lunch and Learn, Birmingham, 12:00 - 14:30
    • Join the IoD, Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Irwin Mitchell for an international trade focused lunch as part of DBT’s International Trade Week, to explore how selling overseas could help take your business to the next level.
  • Webinar: Import regulations for UK exporters, online, 12:30 - 13:15
    • For UK-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs), venturing into the international market involves a two-fold challenge. While it's important to be well-versed in the UK’s export regulations, it's equally vital to develop a keen understanding of the country's import regulations if certain elements in your manufacturing process come from overseas.     • This event will provide a global music outlook with the latest insights on areas of international growth and emerging trends, show how live music tours can break artists into new markets, outline government music export support, and explore the cutting edge of UK music.
  • In person: Tech Opportunities in Northern and Western Europe, London, 14:00 - 15:30
    • The session will focus on showcasing opportunities in Scandinavia, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Estonia, and Belgium. The session will feature a short discussion on the state of trade in technology between the UK and Western and Northern Europe, and then will feature representatives from these countries pitching their market to UK tech firms to export to. 

Wednesday 8th November

    • The UK Services Roadshow is bringing a panel of experts and guest speakers to Liverpool to build your knowledge, network with peers and get top sales tips.

    • Welsh production companies are invited to join the Going Global session hosted by the Department for Business and Trade, TAC and S4C. The session will provide Welsh production companies with practical advise and support which will enable companies to explore opportunities in international markets with more confidence. As well as addressing international distribution, the session will explore funding streams that can support companies to expand internationally.

    • Alongside the Indonesia Embassy and Indonesia Investment Promotion Centre, techUK will work with a market entry and a law firm in our membership to showcase the opportunities in Indonesia for tech firms, as well as demystifying some of the complexities of how to enter the market and what to be aware of.

    • The Welsh Government working with the Department for Business and Trade is bringing together Commercial Officers from Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden to have 1:1 meetings with local businesses.     • As part of International Trade Week, ITS UK will be launching a new report, developed in partnership with the Department for Transport, highlighting the key overseas markets for UK companies delivering transport technology solutions.
  • In person: Growth through reinvention: Celebrating the power of disruption, London, 15:00 - 17:00
    • Bringing together leaders from businesses that are driving growth through reinvention, to share how they have fostered a culture of innovation in their companies, how they continually identify and seize opportunities for growth, and the role that digital marketing and technology plays in reinvention.

Friday 10 November

  • In person: Skills Workshop: How Your Company Can Enter the APAC Market, London, 10:00 - 11:30

    • At this interactive workshop, you’ll hear stories of companies which encountered unexpected challenges – and how they solved them. You’ll also be able to get on-the-spot advice on your own business situation. We’ve experts from law firm Lewis Silkin and corporate & advisory service provider Acclime who specialise in supporting UK companies to expand into APAC with over 13,000 clients across the region.
