Opening times
The spectacular UK Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai officially opens its doors on 1st October 2021 and will be a hub of exciting live activity until the end of the event on 31st March 2022.
The Expo 2020 site is open from 10am – 10pm everyday.

If you’re travelling from outside the UK, please check your local government advice.
How to get there
Thinking of visiting? Whether you’re coming by Metro, bus, taxi or car, getting to Expo 2020 couldn’t be simpler. The three main entrances are a 20-minute drive from Dubai Marina, while the Metro’s Route 2020 takes you directly to Expo 2020. For practical information on how to get there and get around the site visit the Expo 2020 Dubai website.
The UK Pavilion is situated in the Opportunity District and it is the second country pavilion, after Luxembourg, on the left after you exit the Expo 2020 Metro station.
If you are driving, the UK Pavilion will be most easily accessed from the Opportunity parking spaces when you follow the signs from E77 Expo Road.

A message to the universe
If you could send a message to an extraterrestrial civilisation across the depths of space, what would you say?
Add your voice to a continuously changing visitor message and get an awe-inspiring glimpse into the future, exploring everything from the commercialisation of space to artificial intelligence (AI).
At the UK Pavilion you will add your own word to a Collective Message from humanity to the universe, with a little help from our specially developed AI. Every visitor will leave with their own unique couplet composed by the UK’s poetry AI.
An interactive journeY
Your visit begins in our Maze of Aspiration, where you’ll be guided through the story of the UK’s latest innovations in AI and space while exploring some of our pioneering ideas and projects with augmented reality bringing it to life in front of your eyes.
Next, enter our immersive Choral Space where you will be surrounded by music, voices and sounds collected from around the world.
Finally, donate a single word of your choosing to our Collective Message. When you leave the UK Pavilion you will see your donated word displayed in a unique couplet of poetry on the building’s façade as part of the AI-generated message to outer-space from humanity.

Discover answers to the big questions of today in our Inspiration Gallery, a series of interactive exhibitions covering everything from robotics and climate change to wearable technology and the future of global travel.
A sensory feast
Featuring a unique menu created just for Expo 2020 Dubai, the 1851 Restaurant and Bar is the perfect destination to complete your immersion in British innovation by trying some of the best food and drink that has helped put our gastronomy on the map.
Guest chefs, including Michelin-starred names, will add their fresh perspectives to a menu that will continue to evolve throughout the show.
