Doing Business in Iran

Iran is one of the largest economies in the Middle East, with a large consumer middle-class and young, educated workforce. The UK and EU do not recognise US sanctions, and UK exports to Iran have continued, mainly in agriculture, healthcare and foodstuffs.

Modest GDP growth and the global economic recovery present opportunities for UK companies in Iran – mainly in agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy, food and drink, and retail/e-commerce.
