Schools Mission to Saudi Arabia

Call for Expressions of Interest

Under Vision 2030, there are major ambitions to develop the quality and capacity of K12 provision in Saudi Arabia, including attracting more international schools to establish branches in the Kingdom.

Overview.

The demand for UK-branded international schools is growing in Saudi Arabia. Recent changes in regulations, and the establishment of flagship programmes to support attraction of international schools, have opened up a number of opportunities in the market. There is notable interest in schools that specialise in areas such as Arts, Culture, Music, STEM and Sports.

This mission will consist of a two day programme of meetings and networking opportunities with Saudi government and private sector stakeholders across the K12 system to facilitate introductions and explore opportunities to establish school branches.

Expressions of Interest
Expressions of interest must be submitted by Friday 8th October to laurie.dobson@fcdo.gov.uk and outline in no more than 200 words:

  • School strengths and speciality areas
  • Interest in Saudi Arabia
  • Other international operations and current operating models

DIT will respond to all submissions indicating whether they have been successful by 15th October.

Please note: Participation in this mission will be subject to participants meeting the current entry requirements for Saudi Arabia implemented in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Further information on entry requirements can be found on the FCDO Travel Advice for Saudi Arabia.
