The UK presence at SXSW 2022 shines a spotlight on the best of British creativity.

SXSW will feature keynotes, conference sessions, music festival showcases, film festival screenings, networking and unexpected discoveries.

The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to be back at SXSW in person. DIT helps businesses export, drives inward and outward investment, negotiates market access and trade deals, and champions free trade. 

During SXSW, you can attend UK House to the most engaging thought leadership at SXSW. As part of the Official SXSW Conference, UK House will offer a series of official events between 10am - 6pm, March 12th – 15th at Cedar Street Courtyard (208 W 4th St Suite C, Austin, TX 78701). We’re also incredibly proud to present 18 companies that will participate in DIT's Trade Mission to SXSW this year. They represent the best of UK creativity and bring with them innovative solutions to drive audience engagement, applications of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and immersive technologies, among many other specialties. This year DIT and music industry partners will once again host the British Music Embassy (BME) where we’ll showcase the best new music and artists from across the UK. The BME will be at Cedar Street Courtyard (208 W. 4th Street, Austin TX) as part of the Official SXSW Music Festival from 8pm daily (March 14th – 20th) and will host day programming from March 16th – 19th. 

The British Music Embassy Opening Night will take place on Saturday March 12th from 7:00pm. This event will be invitation-only from 7-8pm and then open to SXSW badge holders 8pm-late. The full British Music Embassy line-up for SXSW 2022 can be viewed here.
