Birmingham 2022 -
The Games for everyone
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be the biggest sporting and cultural event to be staged in the UK for a decade, and it will be the largest event ever held in the West Midlands region. Taking place between 28 July and 8 August 2022, Birmingham 2022 will bring people together: athletes from countries far and wide, and communities from across the city, the region and the UK nations. This iconic festival of sport celebrates the universal Commonwealth values of tolerance, respect, understanding and equality.
With thrilling, fast-paced sport, exhilarating cultural events and dynamic business opportunities, the 2022 Commonwealth Games is a chance to celebrate our global community and the enormous potential that emerges when diverse peoples come together – to compete, to engage and to trade. As athletes go for gold in the Birmingham 2022 Games, and visitors flock from across the globe, the UK House will be welcoming business people and decision-makers from both within the Commonwealth and the UK’s major trading partners outside it.
