Managing Director, Card Industry Professionals

Jon Stark
CEO, Peratech

Jon Stark is CEO of Peratech, a Yorkshire-headquartered tactile-sensing technology solutions company, providing next-generation human-machine user experiences through designing and manufacturing electronics modules and software. Peratech currently sells to multinational electronics companies in South Korea, Japan and more.

Prior to Peratech, Jon was VP/GM of Printed Electronics at MFLEX (NASDAQ: MFLX), where he successfully led a multinational division to successfully commercialize a portfolio of new “hard” technologies for material profitable growth. Jon also had executive-level positions at MFLEX in strategy, corporate development, and marketing. Prior to that, Jon held interim executive and consultative roles in strategy, innovation, change management, strategic business development, and communications in a variety of industries including software, electronics, mobile communications, banking, and healthcare.


Marie Hall
Export Finance Manager, UK Export Finance

Marie Hall is an Export Finance Manager, for UK Export Finance, the UK’s Export Credit Agency. 

UKEF’s mission is to ensure that no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance from the private sector, while operating at no net cost to the taxpayer.

Before joining UKEF in January 2022, Marie spent 20 years with Barclays in various roles including Area Manager for Business Bank and 5 years with Handelsbanken as a Corporate Manager.

With her wealth of experience, Marie is now the Export Finance Manager for South Yorkshire helping businesses to export, trade safely, and get paid.

International Business Relationship Manager, York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership

The York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is a public-private partnership charged with driving economic growth and prosperity across York and North Yorkshire. We are one of 38 LEPs in the national LEP Network and one of the 11 LEPs in the NP11 partnership.

 


Peter Bainbridge
Export Adviser, Chamber International

Peter is a former British diplomat whose career included roles as commercial counsellor at the British Embassy in Bogota and deputy director for the Western Balkans. His career started as an export advisor at what is now the Department for International Trade. Passionate about international trade, Peter is fluent in French and Spanish.
