Rosamund O’Neill

Sector Director Creative/Media/Sports Economy North America (Los Angeles-based) – RealScreen, Kidscreen, The British Sync Mission - DIT US Creative/Media/Sports Economy Team

Ros heads up the Creative, Media & Sport Team for the UK’s Department for International Trade in North America. Her team is responsible for foreign direct investment and UK export activity across music, film, television, advertising, video games, digital and social media, sports, experience economy and immersive tech.

Ros originates from London, worked in broadcast, art & design and international aid & trade for 15 years. Moving to Los Angeles in 2011 she ran her own design firm in LA before joining DIT in 2019.

Jenny Mooney

International Trade Adviser - Technology sector lead - Department for International Trade North West
Jenny Mooney is an International Trade Advisor with the Department for International Trade (DIT) in the North West, leading on the Technology sector. Jenny has worked in international trade for over 15 years, working in international market research and business development, before moving into DIT with a Creative then a Tech sector focus. She speaks fluent Spanish having lived and worked in Spain and managing communications with Spanish speaking markets.

Margaret Bourke

International Trade Adviser - Creative industries lead - Department for International Trade North West
Margaret Bourke is an International Trade Advisor with the Department for International Trade (DIT) in the North West. Margaret has over 25 years international business experience. She worked in Japan for 3 years and has extensive experience in Europe, USA and South East Asia. She speaks Japanese, French, German and Irish along with intermediate Spanish and some Portuguese.

Cindy Fabian

Head of Creative/Media/Sports Economy, Silicon Valley & Pacific Northwest (San Francisco-based) - Game Developers Conference, Toronto International Film Festival, Live Design & XLive Las Vegas - DIT US Creative/Media/Sports Economy Team
Cindy is DIT San Francisco's Head of Creative/ Media / Sport - Silicon Valley & Pacific Northwest covering TV, film, animation, games, AR/VR, ad tech, and B2C digital companies. She also leads the DIT trade mission to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) every year. Cindy is a former TV network and studio development executive for USA Network/Syfy and Universal Television. She has also worked as a freelance Executive Producer developing creative series and digital content for clients. She is currently laser-focused on virtual production, new original content, and emerging economies for game developers.

Lara Purser

Sector Director Creative/Media/Sports Economy North America (Houston-based) - SXSW, IAPA, US Regional Sports Events for sport tech exporters - DIT US Creative/Media/Sports Economy Team
Lara Purser is a Trade & Investment Officer based out of the British Consulate General in Houston. In her role, she supports creative, media, and sports economy companies that are looking to invest in the UK as well as British companies that wish to expand their business in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. She is responsible for the UK Government’s yearly trade mission to the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, Texas.
