The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), British Airways, and The Pittsburgh Technology Council are proud to announce an inward mission to the UK on October 6 – 11, 2019.

Deadline to apply: Sunday, August 18, 2019

This mission will offer representatives from up to 10 Pittsburgh-area headquartered tech scale-ups the opportunity to explore the UK’s thriving tech ecosystem via a 5-day program.

The mission will be designed to help companies understand the UK & European markets, support their international growth plans, and develop their global networks and contacts. The program will include visits to the UK’s top tech hubs, including London, Bristol, Manchester, and Cardiff, culminating in a special day with a team from Hangar 51, the tech accelerator of IAG, British Airways’ parent company. More details will be announced as soon as the agenda has been confirmed.

Previous missions have seen companies learn how to set up an office in the UK, visit corporate accelerators, network with the UK offices of US companies, discover university partnership opportunities, meet with UK tech ecosystem influencers, and more.
