The Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST), in partnership with the UK Nuclear Industry Association, invites UK civil nuclear companies to join a targeted trade mission to Canada—one of the world’s most active and strategically important nuclear markets.
Canada is advancing major refurbishment, new-build and small modular reactor (SMR) programmes, backed by strong federal and provincial support for supply-chain development and international partnerships. The mission will connect UK companies directly with utilities, government stakeholders, developers, Tier 1 contractors and supply-chain partners seeking expertise in project delivery, engineering, manufacturing, skills, financing, regulation, digital solutions and specialist services.
Why join?
- Meet Canadian nuclear decision-makers, utilities, developers and supply-chain partners.
- Showcase UK expertise in areas of strong Canadian demand, including project delivery, advanced manufacturing, nuclear-grade materials, skills, licensing, construction productivity and supply-chain integration.
- Take part in curated business-to-business meetings across Ontario and Ottawa.
- Gain insight into procurement pipelines, upcoming opportunities and routes to market.
- Build relationships supporting Canada’s next phase of nuclear growth, including refurbishment, SMRs, new-build projects and supply-chain expansion.
Who should attend?
UK companies across the civil nuclear value chain, including engineering, construction, advanced manufacturing, professional services, digital and cyber, skills and training, operations and maintenance, decommissioning, waste management, fuel cycle, finance and specialist nuclear components.
