About the event

The Civil Nuclear Showcase is set to return in 2020, and promises to live up to its reputation as a unique opportunity for representatives of the international nuclear industry to meet, network and discuss the latest developments in the civil nuclear marketplace. Senior delegates are expected from the UK and across the globe, including Canada, Central Europe, China, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea and the United States.

Taking place at a critical time for the industry, with the UK’s nuclear sector deal developing and the future of nuclear emerging as a key theme in debates around combatting climate change and the energy transition, this flagship event is not to be missed.

Why attend?

  • Business Intelligence - Hear first-hand from a fantastic array of speakers, including project owners, developers, procurement bodies, policy makers and the supply chain - both from the UK and around the world.
  • Collaboration - Country break-out events and briefings will highlight opportunities in specific markets for companies looking for investors, customers and suppliers of cutting-edge nuclear products and services.
  • Networking - Unrivalled networking and one-to-one meeting space will provide you with the opportunity to initiate and develop relationships with senior UK and international stakeholders.
  • Company Profile Raising – Have your company listed in the event brochure and take advantage of the Showcase’s range of sponsorship packages to promote your company, ensuring you are part of the global conversation with key players at this exciting and crucial time for the industry.

Civil Nuclear in the UK is a truly national industry, with significant hubs of activity in the north of England (which is home to forty percent of all UK nuclear sector jobs) the south west and east of England, Scotland, and Wales.

The scope of the British nuclear supply chain spans the entire nuclear life cycle from policy development and regulatory approval, to nuclear new build, to operations and maintenance, to waste management and decommissioning. The UK is also at the forefront of developing innovative new and emerging atomic technologies, such as small and advanced reactors and nuclear fusion. We also have considerable capability in nuclear fuel cycle management and fuel fabrication. The UK has strength in depth across all tiers of the supply chain, cutting-edge research & development organisations, and world leading providers of financial, professional and regulatory services.
