Media guidance

• A select number of NI and international media will be invited to cover the Summit, including reporters and broadcasters. They will be easily identifiable with yellow lanyards and will have limited access to the Plenary, with no access to the breakout sessions. Please note that the plenary sessions will be filmed.

• There will be opportunities for interviews should you wish to engage. Please contact the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Press Office if your organisation is keen to explore this: newsdesk@businessandtrade.gov.uk

• Should you wish to, we encourage you to identify potential communications opportunities in the lead up to, during and after the Summit to talk about Northern Ireland’s investment offer. DBT can provide supportive ministerial quotes or social media support for your announcements, please get in touch with newsdesk@businessandtrade.gov.uk if you are interested in this service.

• The Summit’s programme will showcase Northern Ireland’s innovation and technological strengths across its internationally renowned sectors, including advanced manufacturing, software and technology, financial and professional services, and emerging health and life sciences.

• Speakers at the event will include Business and Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris, Housing and Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove alongside US Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Joseph Kennedy III.
