Media guidance

A select number of NI and international media will be invited to cover the Summit, including reporters and broadcasters. They will be easily identifiable and have limited access to the Plenary, with no access to the breakout sessions.

• We will ensure that media get access to the showcase throughout the day and would encourage you to engage with interview opportunities. Please contact the Department for Business and Trade Press Office if your organisation is keen to explore this, with contact details for your spokesperson on the day, which we can then share with media: newsdesk@businessandtrade.gov.uk

• Should you wish, we encourage you to identify media opportunities in the lead up to, during and after the Summit to talk about Northern Ireland’s investment offer. • Northern Ireland’s innovative businesses will be showcased to more than 100 global investors at the Northern Ireland Investment Summit this September.

• The Summit’s programme will showcase Northern Ireland’s innovation and technological strengths across its internationally renowned sectors, including advanced manufacturing, software and technology, financial and professional services, and emerging health and life sciences.

• Speakers at the event will include Business and Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris, Housing and Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove alongside US Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Joseph Kennedy III.
