What is London Tech Week?  

It is essentially the most important tech event in the UK. Around 20 thousand people from all over the world attend each year. And over a week, London has hundreds of simultaneous tech-related events with some of the most relevant speakers in the tech world. It is an opportunity to immerse in the UK tech ecosystem, meet relevant stakeholders and do networking extensively. 

To whom is the LATAC mission for?  

The mission is focused on Latin American companies and investors that are interested in exploring and expanding their business to the UK market. The invitation is open to relevant tech-based or tech-related companies from Latin America. 

Who is organizing this mission? 

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is leading this mission, and it has dedicated teams based on 5 key Latin American markets (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico) covering the entire region. These teams will be coordinating the agenda with participants. 

What is the LATAC mission about? 

DBT will bring together delegates representing tech companies from all over Latin America for a week of events in London. It will put together a business agenda covering the most relevant topics and events. The list of events is extensive, but there is also time for companies to individually attend sector specific events of their interest. As mentioned, there are hundreds of events over a single week! 

Is it free? 

Attending the events of DBT agenda is free and registering will be organised by DBT team. London Tech Week has also paid events that you can choose to attend independently, if you wish. 

Do I need to register for LTW events in advance?  

No, you don’t. Once you are part of the mission you will be informed with instruction on how to register to specific events – when needed. DBT Team will take care of registering delegates for all events as part of LATAC mission agenda.  

While participants are responsible for their own costs of accomodation, travel and daily expenses, the British Government does not charge any additional costs for participating in this mission
