Export Finance Manager – Renewables and Clean Tech - UK Export Finance
Rachel recently joined UK Export Finance in a new role focused on ensuring that Renewables & Clean Tech Exporters in the North of England have access to trade finance support so that no viable UK export fails through lack of finance. The role also includes working with an overseas network of colleagues to identify opportunities to connect the UK supply chain into international renewable energy projects.
Over the last 10 years, Rachel has held commercial roles across the Energy Sector and completed a MSc. Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics at City University, London. Her experience includes; energy efficiency projects, smart grid Innovation and more recently, the application of advanced data analytics to improve efficiency and uptime in the heavy asset industry. In her spare time Rachel is an active Emergency Response Volunteer for British Red Cross covering the Greater Manchester and Liverpool areas.

Alex has 15 years’ experience of working globally in the renewable energy and waste management sectors. He has the lead international role for business development and marketing at Clarke Energy. Clarke Energy is a multinational market leader in gas-fuelled power and embedded generation. Alex is also a Council Member of the World Biogas Association and a Founding Member of the Cogeneration World Coalition. Alex is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Andria joined DIT Jakarta in 2019 as the Energy sector lead; focusing more on the Renewable Energy sector, where he started developing his knowledge on the market landscape and potential opportunities in this sector. Energy from Waste and Waste management are the national priority projects in Indonesia which will open opportunities for the UK.
Andria will be very happy to share the overview of the Indonesia's market and the opportunities in this area.
Prior to his current role, in 2018, Andria was part of the FCDO corporate services team. He also previously worked in the Indian Embassy in Jakarta for more than four years where he handled many VVIP Visit and Business Engagement between India and Indonesia which helped him understanding more on the Indonesia’s business environment.‘
