As the UK builds momentum towards ambitious climate goals in advance of COP26, a key area of focus remains around the future of transportation.
This Autumn, the UK is hosting a season of US events and conversations that seek to explore the full life cycle of zero emission vehicles (ZEVs). The next few months will bring together thought leaders, innovative companies, policymakers, cities, and academia from both sides of the pond to explore the key ideas and lessons learned that will help make way for a cleaner, safer, and more equitable future of transportation for all.
The first stop will be a Future of Transport (FoT) delegation to the West Coast in November 2021. Nine UK ZEV companies will be visiting LA starting on November 14th and will be attending CoMotion LA as part of the UK's wider partnership.
Further topics discussed during the season will stretch across the US and include the following:
- Batteries
- EV supply chain
- Hydrogen
- Fleets & logistics
- Charging infrastructure
- Total cost of ownership
- Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM)
