Juliana Correa

Commercial Director at the British Embassy in Mexico

Juliana has been the Commercial Director at the British Embassy in Mexico since 2019. She leads the team in charge of supporting trade and investment with the United Kingdom. Juliana is also responsible for the commercial teams in Central America and the Caribbean. Prior to this role, Juliana worked for the Department for International Trade in London, supporting British companies in the infrastructure sector to grow their footprint in Latin America and the Middle East. 

Juliana has worked at the UK Ministry of Defence, and at the Colombian Embassy in London. In the private sector, Juliana has experience in different industries, having worked for Procter & Gamble and the Fitch Group. 

Juliana has a BA in International Business and a MSc in Global Politics from the LSE (London School of Economics). She has lived in several countries, including Canada, the UK, France, Colombia, and now Mexico. Juliana enjoys learning about history and nature. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Odracir A. Barquera Saláis

Executive Director for Strategy at the Office of the Chairman of Mexico's Business Coordinating Council

Odracir is the Executive Director for Strategy (formerly Planning) at the Office of the Chairman of Mexico's Business Coordinating Council (CCE), with responsibility for the International department, US Mexico CEO Dialogue, the Washington Office, Social Dimension and the 18 working groups on the 2030 Agenda.

Previously, Odracir was an Independent Advisor to multilateral organisations, private companies and government entities on themes such as public policy, social strategies, political issues, strategic agendas, and international affairs. This work included Mexican Government entities.

Odracir is Alumni of the US State Department´s IVLP Program; member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Affairs (COMEXI), where he served on the Board; Advocate for the Mexican Representative at the G20´s EMPOWER20 Initiative; Member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club´s Mexico Chapter; and Member of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP); among others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peter O'Kane

Chairman of Strategy International

Peter is Chairman of Strategy International, a grouping of UK-based business development organisations and related training and research organisations serving over 180 leading companies. It includes British Expertise International, a wholly export-focused business development network specialising in all aspects of infrastructure. It assists its members in identifying and securing business opportunities around the world, often working closely with the British government and overseas governments through long-established relationships.

Prior to chairing Strategy, Peter was an investment banker, owning the leading pan-Asian investment bank Crosby and before that working at a range of US and European investment banks. He was educated at Cambridge University from where he has an MA in law.
